Nov 22, 2015 · A4 (B8 Platform) Discussion - MMI not working - I have a 2009 A4 P+. I got in the car the other evening, and the MMI screen didn't turn on. Holding the volume/power button didn't work. I believe the OEM part is around $45 or so but the aftermarket part on AMZN is about $12. Press Radio or Media button on MMI works, radio I can change channel and Media I can control CD but it's obviously paused because it's muted. 4. Dec 18, 2017 · After some messing around over the course of a few days, I finally got it working. I had to go, via the MMI, to Menu > Audi smartphone interface > Change to connection manager (I plugged my phone in at this point) > Audi smartphone, after that just follow the prompts on both the MMI and your phone to get CarPlay set up. Feb 26, 2010 · Audi Connect keeps saying there's "no SIM card and to please insert SIM Card" and the MMI options for online data are all grayed out therefore, unable to change any options . I tried reseting the MMI system and insert/reinsert the SIM card but unable to get it to work. When on a Bluetooth phone call, the speaker symbol will mute, but unmute when the call ends. My Photo Gallery: 0. I had this same exact issue when i bought an MMI off ebay. Turns out it was a corrupted HDD and the unit would not boot into QNX (our MMI systems utilize QNX RTOS).
